Live Writer ‘Post Draft and Edit Online’

Now this may well be a very useful feature of Live Writer’s new beta. It means you can write and edit the text of your post in Live Writer and then publish the draft through to your weblog and update tags and other bits and pieces (Autometa for example) before you publish.

New Windows Live Writer Beta

I’ve just downloaded the latest beta of Windows Live Writer and must admit the improvements are great and this nifty little piece of software just keeps getting better.

There is now a more attractive interface and it seems the more tag is working - meaning you can add a more link into your post through Live Writer. Previously you needed a work around.

EPGs in Australia can drive you mad

Hi all, it’s been a long time between posts but I’m back with an update on the TV on PC thing.

I have tried a few different applications over the intervening weeks and they have their own frustrations, but most of it centres around the EPG situation in Australia. Namely, it’s very hard to get one working. I’m happy to report that, finally, the free to air stations have agreed on allowing a free EPG service to be provided in Australia (gee, they only started talking about that last century).
