I’ve just downloaded the latest beta of Windows Live Writer and must admit the improvements are great and this nifty little piece of software just keeps getting better.
There is now a more attractive interface and it seems the more tag is working – meaning you can add a more link into your post through Live Writer. Previously you needed a work around.
So this will hopefully make it easier to use both in terms of posting and also retrieving posts through Live Writer for editing after they have been published. I have just tried the retrieving post from weblog function in Live Writer and it works extremely well and seamlessly. It is very impressive. All elements of the post can be retrieved, re-edited and re-published onto the blog from WLW.
All in all, this beta looks pretty good. I haven’t been using WLW much of late as I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like. However, as I work through the different features of the program, I’ll let you know whether there are any problems.
