Google Maps does not work in Firefox 3.0.
Simply turn off your Skype Firefox Plugin and all will be fine.

Google has released a new browser called Chrome. I have test run it for the last day and it’s a reasonably impressive offering. It seems designed to be a forerunner for the development of complex web applications - it has a seamless interface with Google Gears.
It lacks the add-ons and extensions of Firefox 3 and it is unclear at the moment what the plans for such things are. It has been developed using similar software to Apple’s Safari but is only available for windows at this stage.
The Firefox 3 download record attempt will officially begin on June 18 in Australia at 3.00am (EST). This URL http://tinyurl.com/4e7fv5 provides the timezone details for people. The 24 hour period is counted from US Pacific time on 17 June, which for most of us on this side of the world will mean downloading won’t start until the following day.
Happy downloading.
It’s been a long time coming (well, not that long) but it’s finally here. Firefox 3 is to be launched on 17 June and Mozilla are asking for help to set a world record for the most downloads on a single day. A reasonably worthy idea - anything to knock IE off it’s dominant pedestal should be welcomed. We’re not anti-Windows mind, just annoyed that IE has been so slow to develop and evolve.
The same can’t be said for Firefox. And having tried the Firefox 3 Beta, it really is a vast improvement. Maybe not in looks, but certainly in performance - much faster in speed and much better on the memory leaking front.

If you’ve happened to pop into GUB in the last couple of days you may well have seen some strange layouts and columns in wrong places. This was due to the switch to Wordpress 2.5.
It didn’t play particularly well with K2 but things seems to have settled down a little now.
