Here’s a new blogging tool we discovered recently. It’s called Performancing and it’s a blogging tool that is easily accessible in Firefox. It’s an add-on so easily downloaded and added to Firefox. The interface is very simple, and the set up is most reliable.
For some it could be overly complicated, and if you don’t use Technorati or Del Icio.Us then it’s probably not going to be that useful to you. However there are some nice features.
The uploading of histories (old posts) and categories is fairly stable. And editing old posts and re-publishing them seems to work well. It is missing more than one FTP upload account which is a pity. It seems the tag doesn’t work in Performancing, so you won’t be able to split up your posts.
There is still some work to be done on uploading a picture. Windows Live Writer and WordPress will ‘webalise’ your image before uploading, Performancing doesn’t appear to reduce the size of the picture when you upload. You still have to do this manually. Let us know if this isn’t the case, but we couldn’t see anywhere this could happen automatically.
If you are looking for a less featured but still reliable Firefox bogging tool, then we would suggest Deepest Sender.
